All-Inclusive Summer Kayaking Excursion Attracts Adventurers from as Far as Central New Jersey to Scenic Pine Barrens
Lumberton, NJ (PRWEB) July 31, 2008 -- When Lavinia Awosanya, president of event planning company Event Mood, Corp., and Sheri Desaretz, founder of Looking Forward Coaching, decided to organize a kayaking trip, they hoped for a small group of participants. However, on Saturday, July 26, 36 people (including 14 children) took the three-hour trip down the serene and gentle Wading River. Some in canoes and others in kayaks, novice excursionists tried getting a handle of their boats, while experts paddled rhythmically on the 'cedar' water enjoying close to perfect weather.
"When we setout to organize this event, our main goal was for people to have fun with those near and dear to them. And, they certainly did. The response far exceeded our expectations, and we already have requests for more such activities. Taking into consideration the current economic climate, Lavinia and Sheri priced the excursion at $30, which included the vessel rental and a delicious boxed lunch.
