Piscataway Mom Charged with Murder
January 11, 2008--A Piscataway NJ mother is charged with murder after she allegedly drowned her infant daughter at their family home.
The 9-month-old child was not breathing when Piscataway Police were called Thursday night. The child was immediately taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital of New Brunswick, NJ and she was pronounced dead late this past Friday afternoon.
Wella S. Eng is incarcerated at the Middlesex County Jail in North Brunswick and has a $2 million bail. It was not immediately known if she had retained a legal counsel
Ms. Eng who is married and is also the mother of a 7-year-old son had been free on $10,000 bail after being charged with child endangerment in an unrelated incident from last November, when she allegedly left her daughter unattended in an automobile.
